About Us

Much of my prior background is in heavy construction building pipelines. I'm an average, down-to-earth guy who just happened to become a counselor. Asking for help takes courage. I admire this courage. I proudly serve people of all backgrounds and will honor your existing values/beliefs. A Christian worldview can also be ethically combined with the best scientific treatment methods for those who desire this added modality.

My trauma-informed counseling style focuses on helping clients explore and know themselves more fully in a non-judgmental way while also identifying areas for potential growth. I help clients identify hidden & destructive thinking patterns. I also help clients explore their identity and purpose. With these new insights, clients can reconnect with themselves and with others once again in fuller and more rewarding ways. My practice is heavily influenced by strong evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, experiential therapy, and Gestalt techniques. 

I currently offer individual or group counseling. While I do not currently offer traditional couples/family therapy, I am happy to treat families affected by grief/loss, or those currently preparing for a loss.

Education and Experience:

• Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Bellevue University
  • Emphasis in grief/trauma and abuse
• Bachelor of Science in Bible with a strong minor in Psychology, Boise Bible      College

Personal Interests:

I can often be found jetboating and fishing on the Payette or Snake rivers year-round, frequently with my son at my side. I also enjoy road-trips and other travel and exploration with my family members. I love meeting new people and cultures when traveling.
